Do you answer the phone at night and on weekends?
Yes. The phone is answered around the clock, including weekends and holidays. If your water is out, call 973-853-1550 whatever the hour.
Do you drill wells?
No. Ackerman works on everything from the well cap to the tap: pumps, pressure tanks, switches, controls and the lines between them. If a well itself needs to be drilled or deepened, Don will tell you straight and point you to the right people.
How long does a pump replacement take?
Most submersible pump replacements are finished the same day. The truck carries the common pump sizes, pressure tanks and controls, so a diagnosis and a replacement can happen in one visit.
Which brands do you install?
Grundfos and Goulds well pumps and Amtrol pressure tanks. They're the brands Ackerman has sold and serviced for years, and parts for them are easy to get when you need them.
Where do you work?
Passaic, Bergen, Sussex and Morris counties in New Jersey and Orange County, New York, from the shop at 735 Warwick Turnpike in Hewitt.
Who will I talk to when I call?
